My Bio

Hello, everyone! I'm Fee! I took a long break from art between roughly 2014 and 2023, but I'm back now and I'm having a blast doing art again. I do find it kinda funny that what I'm doing now honestly feels nothing like what I used to draw. I've really gotten into portraits, though I do the occasional figure drawings as well. The big change is that I'm drawing humans, hehe. But yeah, this is where I'm at with art now, just sketching out stuff and sharing it for everyone to enjoy.

When I'm not making art I enjoy reading, watching anime or listening to music. I try to play video games too, but that seems to happen less and less as I get older. Oh well. We can't do everything, right?

I divide my time between a Switch and a hacked Steamdeck these days. Those cover most of my needs.
Tools of the Trade
A thinking cap that captures stray neuron bursts and turns them into images. I've been known to use writing impliments to carve pictograms into paper as well.
Other Interests
I got lost in the world of experimental music making for a while. Still mess with it every now and then. Sleep is nice too.
I went into my gallery today to do a bit of rearranging that really needed to be done. Moving basically all of my pre-hiatus works into their own folder and moving a couple things around that were really in the wrong place to begin with. Not a huge deal (and I'll probably do a bit more after I type this thought up), but when I got to my scraps folder I got distracted. I keep a lot of old artwork on here, and even beyond the finished work, there are quite a few things in that scraps folder that I really haven't looked at in over a decade or more. There are sketches for drawings I did eventually finish, yes, but those were just the tip of the iceberg. What really grabbed me were all of the unfinished pieces and scans of pages from sketchbooks I haven't looked at since I scanned them. It was just really amazing to look back at what I had accomplished, at what my style looked like and how it evolved, especially in some of the pieces where it was really clear to see what methods I was

Yeah, so, it's been a very long time, huh? Is anyone still around? If so, how are you doing? What's been happening? Did I miss anything? Is this still the happening place to be as an amateur artist? I should probably start off with an apology for going silent all those years ago. Sorry, everyone. I could probably make excuses like not being in a good head-space or burning out or whatever else, but it doesn't take away from the fact that I ran away from basically everyone and everything here without really saying why, and that's not cool. Especially given that some of you, RedHusky more than anyone else, continued to try for years to talk to me, or just remember my birthday. I can never apologize enough for not popping in and saying anything in all that time. With that said, why am I back here now? Would you believe that, after a decade of not drawing, and probably an even longer time since I'd drawn anything I was honestly proud of, I've picked up the old pencil again. Okay, the not

Yeah, like it says up there, I need to vent. That's about all DA has become for me at this point sadly. It's a place I can vent when I need to. Well, a place to vent and a place to talk to the only real life friend I still have, but that's a topic for it's own paragraph so I'll get back to that. But yeah, it's been one of those days that, while not particularly bad, just has me in a sort of funk. I think it started the other day when my Dad called me a quitter. It wasn't even over anything big and meaningful, which just pissed me off even more. A concert came up that he knows I want to go see and I didn't even bother to look up prices becaus

Hello there! I'm here because you supported me in some way! Gave me a llama, a watch, etc.!

From the bottom of my heart, your support means the absolute world to me, and I wouldn't be here without you! No words can describe how much a single watch or llama can be to me.

May you be blessed with happiness! ❤⃛ヾ(๑❛ ▿ ◠๑ )

Thanks! You too!

Thank you for the fav!

No problem. I try to return the favor when I get them.

Happy Birthday!
